2025 Federal Rebates and Tax Credits
Federal income tax credits are now available through 2032, offering a maximum of $3,200 each year to lower the cost of home upgrades aimed at increasing energy efficiency. These upgrades, which include heat pumps, insulation, windows and doors, electrical panel upgrades, home energy audits, and more, can help families reduce their monthly energy bills and save money in the long run.
Moreover, homeowners have the opportunity to benefit from the extended and modified Residential Clean Energy credit, which provides a 30 percent tax credit on clean energy equipment such as solar panels, wind energy systems, geothermal heat pumps, and battery storage. Californians have made great strides to improve indoor water efficiency; however, outdoor water efficiency achieves much more water savings. We each can use up to 82 gallons of water a day at home. We can all use at least 20 percent less water by installing water-efficient fixtures and appliances. The average American family spends more than $1,000 per year in water costs, but can save more than $380 annually from retrofitting with WaterSense labeled fixtures and ENERGY STAR certified appliances.

Jonathan did our inspection originally and helped get rid of 2 dead rats while he was here. We have good experience with Jaime, had a couple questions on paperwork but he cleared it up for us. We have been very happy with the heating / AC and windows installation. Everyone with the agency has been very knowledgeable and professional! Brendan went the extra mile to help us with adjusting and setting a schedule on the new thermostat. He asked his boss for additional training to assist us.

The number of appointments was a bit overwhelming, but made sense, once they explained reasons. Jaime was very prompt in returning phone inquiries. We have a blatantly obvious no soliciting / knocking sign due to a newborn baby who is trying to sleep and this is now the second time one of your employees has come up to our door, knocked numerous times and yelled “hello hello hello answer the door”. Representatives involved in my process getting my home up to par did an excellent job. The each made sure I understood, while I took notes. My experience with American Home Energy was great. Had a roof inspection done by Branden. He advised me my roof did not need to be replaced and just needed some minor details done that I am able to do myself. I'm happy to see good honest people and companies are still around. We had a wonderful time working with Jamie and most of the American Home (Energy Savers) crew here in Sacramento. Project started October 2023 and ended this month (February 2024) with minimal interruptions due to the Holidays & severe weather conditions. The crew are mostly reliant, hardworking & very respectful during and after each project. The payment plan is very reasonable which allow us to pay over a 3 year period with 0% interest. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone who has home/property maintenance needs.
